The usual excuses

Today was a bright, mild day, and I should have taken a walk, but I was still recovering from being exposed to a ridiculous amount of NFL on TV yesterday, so I stayed home for a big vacuum session (we got a new Miele) - the first since the move - and to properly re-arrange my work space.

I've taken over the 2nd bedroom and love the setup so far. I got through most of my small loose ends (I realize that I could do this forever: scraps of paper that came off of bigger scraps, and so on. Kind of like that math problem where you can bisect a line infinitely) and am organizing my brain so that I can work on at least five different projects at once. I fastidiously sewed seven scraps of hanji together with hot pink thread and wrote a letter on it. After I wrote this one to Ching-In. Writing letters always calms me. I did some prep for my lecture on Thursday while watching this funny TEDTalk and am feeling much better about working here.
